Traditionally, the Propane industry has used tank vapor pressure for opening internal valve actuators. With the price of fuel, this is not only a costly choice, but also a poor environmental choice. Approximately 100 cycles is equal to a gallon of propane released in the air. Both environmental regulators and Fire codes are increasingly excluding it’s use. School bus, taxi and large delivery fleets sometimes fill more than 200 times a day! Nitrogen, which is not temperature sensitive and nonflammable, is a good choice, but with the annual cost and the risk of an empty cylinder, it also has an expensive and unreliable choice.
The P4-Eco-Air is a purpose built and fully self-contained unit. Designed specifically for the rigors of propane internal valve operation and based on years of field experience and testing and addressing all the safety, down time, long-term cost and emissions drawbacks of gas vapor or nitrogen. Assembled with the highest quality components:

-Vertical 1 gallon reservoir, with self-drain solenoid, PLC controlled
